Lockheed Martin is a global leader in aerospace, defense, and advanced technologies, with a strong emphasis on innovation, precision, and brand consistency. The company’s in-house creative team supports a wide range of design initiatives—each one contributing to maintaining a cohesive and forward-thinking brand identity across diverse platforms and audiences.
Challenge
During monthly design team meetings, a “brand tip” was shared at the end of each presentation to reinforce best practices and encourage brand alignment. However, these tips were often overlooked—attendees tended to drop off before the end, and the static format failed to capture attention or inspire engagement. The goal was to find a more creative, memorable way to deliver these brand insights and get the whole team involved.
Solution
I developed a monthly motion graphics series where designers could submit their own brand tips to be transformed into quick, one-minute animated videos. Each video played at the end of our team meetings, turning what was once a quiet wrap-up into a fun, visual highlight. This approach not only boosted engagement but also fostered team participation and reinforced brand principles in a dynamic format.
